Hello, I’m Pippa-the teacher behind MathMadeEasy

I’ve spent more than 20 years helping students of all ages build confidence and clarity in mathematics, teaching across Western Australia and New South Wales. My career has taken me from the classroom to the world of data science and autonomous haulage, but at my core, I have always been a teacher.

My approach is warm, patient and practical. I believe math becomes far less intimidating when explanations are clear, steps are broken down and students feel genuinely supported.

Experience

I have experience teaching all levels of mathematics, from helping students prepare for OLNA to teaching Applications, Methods and Specialist courses, as well as working with primary students who are homeschooled. This breadth of experience has given me a deep understanding of how students learn, progress and build confidence at every stage.

My interest in real‑world mathematics led me to complete a Master of Data Science, earning recognition for excellence in Artificial Intelligence and moving into the mining industry as an Application Specialist working with Caterpillar’s autonomous haulage systems. Even in these highly technical environments, the core of my work has always been the same: explaining complex ideas clearly and helping others grow — because at heart, I have always been a maths teacher who loves helping students develop a love of learning.
